Every New Day Pictures is very pleased to announce the leading actors for the upcoming feature film Most Wonderful Time expected to premiere for audiences Christmas 2021. The actors come from all over the United States as well as the island nation of Bermuda, and span a wide variety of genres from comedy to historical dramas of critical acclaim.

Brittany Goodwin // Bria

Most Wonderful Time is Brittany Goodwin’s fifth feature film that she was written and directed, all under the Every New Day Pictures brand. This time, she expands her creative involvement to portray the leading role of Bria, the 30-something author living in Chicago that travels back home to Willow Springs for the holidays after hearing that her divorced mother has decided to sell her childhood home. Nostalgic for a simpler time and the thought of dismissing cynical book reviews and bloggers by ditching her smartphone and laptop sparks an idea in her mind, and she invites her best childhood friends to her soon-to-be-sold home to relive their glory days and reconnect as adults.
Brittany Goodwin is a Nashville-based director, screenwriter and actor know for If You're Gone, a feature film based on Goodwin's best-selling novel of the same name. Acting credits include Christmas at the Ranch (2021), The Perfect Race (2019) and The Mummy Re-Birth (2019) as well as her ongoing work as a motion capture actor for Epic Games (Fortnite, Gears of War 3), and dozens of voiceover and narration credits.
Ben Davies // Jake

Known for his roles in the faith-based films Courageous and I’m Not Ashamed, Ben Davies is a multi-talented presence on-screen who is able to portray both edgy and likable characters. Most Wonderful Time marks Davies’ second collaboration with writer/director/actor Brittany Goodwin as he played the rugged yet misunderstood bad-boy Michael “Lizard” Lisardo in Goodwin’s 2019 release of If You’re Gone.
Ben has landed the lead role in twenty feature films earning awards and nominations for 'Best Male Actor" in five film festivals including action roles requiring great athletic ability. Davies is also an award-winning writer for television and film.
In Most Wonderful Time, Davies plays the role Jake, Bria’s popular, high school jock boyfriend who falls out of touch after she moves to the big city to pursue her dream of becoming a published author. Bria’s return to Willow Springs for the holidays proves to be an opportunistic chance encounter after spending over 15 years apart.
Brooke Burfitt // Ella

Brooke Burfitt is a dynamic force on-screen and has portrayed characters ranging from comedic to dramatic on award-winning international productions. Hailing from the United Kingdom but currently based in Bermuda, she won two “Best Actress” awards at international film festivals in her first feature role the 2015 hit By Any Means, and most recently played the romantic lead in Christmas at the Castle, produced by Reel One Entertainment, which premiered on Lifetime in December 2020.
In Most Wonderful Time, Burfitt plays the confrontational character of Ella, Bria’s childhood friend that chose to settle down in Willow Springs rather than move elsewhere, and is heavily involved in the upbringing of her children and being a big personality in a small town.
Micah Lynn Hanson // Taylor
Micah Lynn Hanson, was born in Costa Mesa, California, raised in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and is now a theatre and on-camera actor/singer based out of Nashville, TN.
Her most recent credits include a featured role in the Kendrick brother’s film Overcomer with fellow Most Wonderful Time co-star Ben Davies, and playing the lead role, Alice, opposite Alan Powell (Redliners, The Song), in another Kendrick Brother"s film/miniseries Like Arrows: The Art Of Parenting.
Hanson plays the role of Taylor in Most Wonderful Time, Bria’s edgy friend who is a full-time bartender with a tough exterior.
Jess Barbour // Autumn

Jess Barbour is based out of Raleigh, NC, and is known for her work on Vault of Darkness (2009), Oh Crappy Day and Behind Hidden Masks (2013). Jess is also a full-time educator in the arts at the North Raleigh Arts & Creative Theatre.
Barbour portrays the role of Bria’s romantically-tragic friend, Autumn, who felt she was never able to catch the eye of a cute boy in her difficult teenage years. After much time away from Willow Springs and maturing into the lovely lady she is today, Autumn finds she is starting to turn heads in a big way, including her high school crush Kalen.
Gabe Baker // Kalen

Gabe Baker is a talented musician/actor based out of Nashville, Tennessee, who made his debut television appearance as a contestant on The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart in 2020, and is excited to make his motion picture debut on Most Wonderful Time as Kalen, the upstanding heartthrob who has eyes for one of Bria’s friends that surprises her in a big way.
